Here are some strategies that I use to memorize...
1) Look over everything and just try to memorize while reading
2) Go back and quiz myself to see if I remember
3) Read again and quiz again if I forget something

The advantage of this strategies is it is a quick way to remember things that you have learned in the past but forgot.

The disadvantage of this strategy is that you need to stay really focused. If not it might not work.
